Racegate...real friends stand by you..

The current race tremor is coming from the liberal haven of Cambridge Mass. where a black college professor has accused a white police officer of racial profiling.

A quick recap-

1) A 911 complaint is called in stating two men are breaking into a house next door in a campus suburb.

2) Police respond only to find out it's actually the lawful occupant of the house who just happens to be black and a faculty professor.

3) During the back and forth of the confrontation the professor is arrested and charged w/ disorderly conduct. All charges were later dropped.

4) The professor claims racism which is echoed thru the media and liberal establishment. The cop denies it and claims he was following standard procedure. The cop is backed by his department and his union (yes I know, even a broken clock is right twice per day).

5) During a prime time press conference on health care last week Barry O was asked about the situation. Barry acknowledges that he and the professor are buds and he doesn't know all the facts. However Barry continues to opine that the Cambridge police "acted stupidly" when they hand cuffed an elderly man who uses a cane.

6) The situation goes from boiling over to a full nuclear melt down. In order to diffuse the firestorm Barry invites the two to the White House this Thursday for a beer. What the hell is Crowley to do, say no? What's he going to do when he gets there?? In a prior interview Crowley flat out refused an apology and I don't see the professor admitting he made a false claim of racism. This is called a "teaching moment". What the hell is the lesson to be learned?? Will Barry throw his teacher under the bus like he did his preacher when the truth comes out??

In the following clip you will see a CNN hack interview comrades of the white officer, Jim Crowley. This pretty much says it all for me. These fine men and women wouldn't back one who was in the wrong. They know the officer best, most likely on a very personal level. Law enforcement is a member's only club, very similar to the military where outsiders are truly civilians with no concept of the life style. Crowley's friends wouldn't face the deluge that's going to come from such a public show of support if the internal evidence, reports, and scuttlebutt left any doubt that the professor was truly profiled.

This seals the deal for me as to who's right and who's wrong. The fight to end the racism epidemic that lingers in our society takes a step backwards when good people are maligned for personal gain and revenge.

Term Limits..Need I Say More..

John Conyers (D-MI) is speaking before the National Press Club when he dropped this little Nugget, no Owen pun intended.

He's not reading what he's voting on and acts as though that's the way all congressional members should operate as well.

"Why you expect me to take time to read this shit and understand it?? Just shut up and pay your damn taxes".

He's been in Congress way to long. He's the problem with government and doesn't even realize it. He's failing to understand what his responsibility to his constituents and the American people really are. Please understand, I think there's Republicans that fit this same mold. Unfortunately none of them have been quoted recently with such elitist arrogance. We need to limit these people so that the continuing protection of their party and power base isn't their main objective but rather doing the people's business is.

Crafting large legislation bills in the dark of night and demanding members rush to a vote to meet some arbitrary deadline is the new standard operation procedure on unpopular bills. We've seen this with the immigration bill under Bush and the stimulus and cap & tax bills under Obama. With partisan glee the objective of the democrat majority now is to cram thru a bill as quick as possible and claim a political victory. No matter how poor the legislation or what the after effects will be. The days of serious congressional deliberations on pending issues are over, at least for the foreseeable future.

Any where other than government this type of poor job performance would fast track not legislation but rather pink slips. It's time to pink slip many of these incumbents in both parties in 2010.

Oh Yeahhh...

God,Guns, and Pick Up Trucks

From CNN-

This reporter just doesn't "get it". Her disdain for the real non-liberal majority American is evident. She comments to him that "some" people watching would find owning an AK-47 "a tad irresponsible"..

Well, first off "some" people is about what the ratings reflect watch that empty shell of a network. More viewers will, like me, see this as a viral net video than the amount of actual viewers who watched the live broadcast.

This is almost as bad as that CNN reporter who badgered the man holding his 2yr old son at a Tea Party a while back. His crime wasn't owning a gun, but rather, daring to exercise his right to freedom of assembly and opposing the Obama full access ATM machine. Oh..BTW..that video went viral too..the reporterette was so popular after her performance that CNN chose not to renew her contract...lol.

Now as far as the 2nd Amendment goes, the founding fathers put the right to bare arms in there, not to protect our right to hunt but rather to provide for protection against a tyrannical government. We had just fought a war against Britain, one that was fought with many people just owning hunting rifles and defending their liberty. If only all those people had the AK-47 of the times that war probably wouldn't have dragged on for almost 8 yrs.

I'm a firm believer in the populace being armed as well as the government forces. It will give them something to think about as they slowly erode our liberties and wipe their collective ass w/ the Constitution.
