Weekend- From shit to shine

Well- What a roller coaster of a weekend.

Friday night I broke open the new camcorder and got a chance to play around with it. The camra is very light weight and impressive so far. I also set up the green screen in the office but couldn't get any decent lighting. However I took some test video to run thru the Pinnacle software I re-installed this evening.

Worked on re-designing the blog features until the wee hours of Saturday morning. I've decided to match the name and background music with the wallpaper and slide show. Also I found the code for drop down menus which was used on the links. I'm not sure where the Sandman themes will go but will definitely be using it somewhere on the site. Stay tuned as the videos on the side bar will be updated and I'm toying around with a navigation bar idea.

I got to bed about 4 am Saturday morning and got a little sleep until a little after 8:30am when Lori's yelling woke me up. It just so happened that the sewage line from our house to the city line got backed up again and started flodding in the basement. This is about the third time this has happened in the eight years we've lived here. Roots from the tree out front keep growing into the pipe and causing the back up. Each time it's been Roto Rooter to the rescue. Just kissed $249.00 down the drain. Before we called the pro's I ran over to the local plumbing store and picked up a wrench and snake to try a repair. My feeble attempts to fix it failed. The only reward was a MILF at the plumbing store had on some skin tight jeans that were wearing thin on the ass. I checked out all of the pipes and wished she would have cleaned my drain, lol.

It turns out the tech that came by also does bathroom remodels on the side. He gave us a great quote for labor to re-do the master bath.

Today was much slower and lest costly. I cleaned out an old dresser in the laundry room and successfully got it to the curve without throwing my back out. Now it's the garbage man's problem.

Tomorrow it's off to Hanover, PA for sales visits. I like that little town for some strange reason. Those locations are some of my most frustrating customers but the people seem "real" to me and not corporate suit types.
