Tactical Voting

Tactical voting (or strategic voting or sophisticated voting) occurs when a voter supports a candidate other than his or her sincere preference in order to prevent an undesirable outcome.

In this case changing party affiliation to the democratic party in order to assist Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton. Depending on who you think is the lesser challenge for John McCain.

El Rushbo is urging Republicans in PA to crossover and vote for Hillary in Operation: Chaos. This tactic was successful in Ohio, Since our primary doesn't ever mean anything for conservatives why NOT have some fun. I missed the cut off to participate.

However the libs in the MSM are going ape-shit over it. Which means, when reading between the lines, that the tactic is working. In the below clip MSNBC's Dan Abrams is REALLY concerned that people are breaking the law by doing this.

Let me set this up for you-

Ohio requires you to sign an affidavit confirming party allegiance when registering to vote. So all of the Republicans that changed party affiliations for the short term and voted democrat are now guilty of voter fraud. That's according to one Ohio board of elections.

This is clearly a first amendment issue. Despite any legal document signed the vote is a personal and private choice. These are the same people who cry fowl when legislation is introduced mandating photo id's be shown in polling places to vote. So it's fraud to vote your conscience but not fraud to vote if you're dead.

Remember- It was no big thing when Monica Lewinsky and Slick Willie lied on affidavits in the Paula Jones sexual harassment case.
